SUMMARY:Builder Roundtable - City of Belleville
DESCRIPTION:The Quinte Home Builders' Association and the City of Belleville's Building Department have had a longstanding partnership and forum for Builders and the City to collaborate and work together. We are pleased to reintroduce the Builder Roundtable\, a collaborative forum focused on open dialogue\, shared challenges\, and practical solutions that support responsible residential construction in our community. While QHBA and the City continue to work together through regular municipal meetings\, this roundtable is intended to provide a more focused discussion between builders\, renovators\, industry professionals\, and building department staff on opportunities to improve processes\, communication\, efficiency\, and the overall customer experience for everyone involved in housing and construction. This session will provide an opportunity for respectful and constructive conversation from both industry and municipal perspectives\, with the shared goal of continuing to build better communities together. One of the additional discussion topics suggested for this roundtable for example\, is illegal building and renovation activity\, and how QHBA and the City may be able to work collaboratively to improve consumer awareness and education. This could include exploring opportunities to provide homeowners with helpful information at the building permit counter regarding permits\, qualified professionals\, and the benefits of working with QHBA Certified Members for their building and renovation projects. Overall\, we need your participation. Your experience and your voice matters. This roundtable reflects a continued commitment by both QHBA and the City of Belleville to partnership\, professionalism\, and solution-based collaboration in support of housing and community growth. If you're interested in attending\, please register using the link or contact us for more details at info@quintehomebuilders.com. Building Better Together.
