QHBA Building Communities - Quinte West

QHBA Building Communities - Quinte West

October 8, 2026 (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Municipal elections matter to our industry, and this fall QHBA is bringing Building Communities across the region.

These non-partisan learning sessions are designed to bring municipal election candidates (including mayoral candidates) and QHBA members together for networking, conversation and a better understanding of the residential construction industry, including housing, infrastructure, development, workforce and the economic impact of building our communities.

We want QHBA members in the room.

Your experience, perspective and conversations with candidates are an important part of these sessions.

Wherever you work within the residential construction industry, this is an opportunity to connect directly with candidates and an opportunity for us to help those candidates better understand the important role our industry plays in our region.

The residential construction industry is about more than building homes. It supports local jobs, drives economic activity, strengthens our communities and helps create the housing choices our growing region needs. It also requires collaboration between industry and municipalities to address affordability, infrastructure, responsible growth and the challenges that can stand in the way of getting more shovels in the ground. Working together with all levels of government to build our region is the right path forward.

Building Communities is our opportunity to demonstrate that QHBA and our members are informed, invested partners who want to work with municipal leaders to build strong, sustainable and attainable communities for the future.

We encourage you to attend the session in your community or join us for more than one.

We hope to see you there.
