Subject: Special Meeting of Members – October 29th, 2024

Dear QHBA Members,

We would like to invite you to a Special Meeting of Members on October 29th, 2024. This meeting is an important opportunity for members to engage in key decisions and updates for our Association. Please note: this is a members only meeting and guests are not permitted. 

Meeting Details:

• Date: October 29th, 2024
• Time: 12:00 PM
• Location: QHBA Office - 335 University Avenue, Belleville ON
• Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided.

Agenda:

1. Introduction of New Membership Structure
   A new membership structure as recommended by the Board of Directors will be presented for discussion, and member approval.

2. Member in Good Standing Resolution
   A resolution regarding the definition of members in good standing will be presented and voted on.

3. 2024/2025 Nomination Committee's Slate of Directors
   The Nomination Committee will present their proposed Slate of Directors for the upcoming term.

Please note that our accounting firm, Welch LLP, is diligently working on our year-end financials for the 2022 and 2023 fiscal years. These will be presented at our Annual Meeting of Members (AMM) in December via Zoom, along with our by-law updates for ONCA (Ontario Not for Profit Corporations Act) compliance.

Your participation in this Special Meeting of Members is crucial to the continued success and growth of our association. We hope to see you there! Note: This Special Meeting of Members is for members only.
